Hi all,
I finished my gssl with super sidechain and something seems strange to me :
Since i puted the super sidechain board, the threshold changed a lot...
Example : With no ssc board, i have a -10db compression with 3 oclock on threshold. Since the ssc is wired, i have to go to 12 or 11oclock to have the same -10d reduction, even in "sidechain off position".  May i change one resistor to  find back the same compression...now i have to send very loud signal from the source,  to obtain a good compression...
If somebody can help me..
Thanks a lot

Hi all again, i think about changing the pot of threshold to make the trick, but i do not know if it is really a good idea.
Does somebody have the same problem when sc board is added ?..thanks for your reply..

First check values of resistors around IC1.

If the switch is in OFF position, signal goes thru summing amp (0dB gain if both L and R signals are applied) and inverting amp with 0dB gain so you shouldn't get any attenuation from input to the output.

i checked all those resistors, and they are matching with the printed inscription, it is all right at this level...I just have a problem of compression threshold...i wish about changing the 50k pot for a 100k pot, then maybe i will have a good threshold control...
