Hello,

I own a Telefunken H380a tonegenerator - unfortunately it came without schematics or pinout documentation
and there are no infos about this module in the web.

Are there any owners of this module here, who can provide some usefull informations?

I know this is a very old thread but did anybody have any info on the H380a or even the Siemens h280 or the Neumann H480. If anybody knows whether the pinouts were consistent between the different manufacturers that would really help.

Thanks
Sean

OK, I made some progress with the pins. It looks very similar to the w393, w394 filter modules:

3, 5, 13, 19, 21: 0V
14: +24V
4, 20: Output
6, 18: Output
12: not sure...

Wiring it this way produces a good signal at all frequencies but the attenuation control +6db or -60db has no effect on either output. I suspect that one output is supposed to be constant and the other should be able to be changed, and I think the adjustable one would be on pins 6 and 18.

There is a green wire from pin 12 that leads to the - end of two 1000µ caps and to part of the large transformer. I'm not sure if this should be grounded or if the whole unit should operate on +12/-12 V supply (-12V to pin 12). It would be neat to get the attenuation working so if anybody has the right info or any ideas they would be welcome.
