TC Eelectronic G Major 1 screen issue

my G Major 1 screen, has suddenly start to fail. They need to be changed?

It appears that TC Electronic's displays are notorious for failing.
I have a TC One here with a defective display.

Does that black frame(?) around the front of the LCD come off?

I tried to clean the strips and the pcb pads... nothing... The screen still have the same issues...
