I'm working on repairing a Technics SA-DX950 receiver and ran into some parts I'm not familiar with so I figured I'd come here for some info.  The issue is with the volume control and to a lesser extent the input selector control.  Both are becoming unreliable.  The manual lists these parts as variable resistors, but doesn't give any specs and they are not the "standard" pots I'm familiar with.  Both have unlimited rotation in both directions, the input selector is detented.  Anyone know what sort of parts these would be?  Rotary encoders?  Something else?  Looks like it could be a quick fix if I can figure out the specs on these things.  Thanks.
