Thank you. The preamp and master combo gets the most out of the 963 console for one channel strip, with the I/O placed on the front for easy access.I love those plastic extensions on the pushbutton switches.

I read on a thread somewhere ( knowing I shouldn't believe everything I read) that the channel strip on it's own isn't strong enough to drive a line input because a channel strip doesn't have an output transformer, but looking at the schematic I see that it's not the case... Can anyone share some thoughts on this? If I'm right the channel strip should be fine if I supply it with power and audio Ins and outs. I'll add the schematic.
