THAT 2180 on single supply?

I have an old Vestax PMC 05 Pro 2 DJ-Mixer which uses Optocoupler VCAs for the Crossfader. Unfortunately the Optos are quite slow and I suspect they have also drifted out of spec. I would love to substitute the VCA circuitry with THAT 2180 ICs but the internal PSU only operates on +12V DC. Is it possible to adapt the THAT ICs to single supply operation?
