Hi to all D.I.Y.érs.

This time my "new kid" is green not blue (ssl, calrec). I´ve build this stereo green v14. over the last weekends. Here an hour there an hour. Doing the PCB was quite fast and easy. Then the calibration and testing was promising cause it sounded great from the beginning. I used Peter´s PCBs (incl. Power Supply , thanks Peter), everything else is common stuff, a tarroid transformer etc... My case was the cheapest ever. It doesn´t look like 10 EUR. Maybe next time I will spend more money cause the green child sounds a m a z i n g !!! The LED´s ending with the front panel. Front Panel was made by Schaeffer.

Thanks again Peter for such a great Pre-Amp.

Here are some pics.

The knobs look like the big LCR Pan knob of an MCI JH500.

Nice one, Jürgen :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

And I like the style of your Calrec EQ, too. :thumb:
Jürgen, it looks awesome and I'm sure it does sound so as well. Congrats.

Allow me two Qs: How did you apply the green (or blue) color to the front panels and where are the knobs on the green pre from. They remind me of something.
Yes. It´s the Schaeffer green and the jaydee-blue. Knobs are from Conrad.

I don't know what it is but Germans have some of the neatest and best design abilities I have ever witnessed. Those look amazing! Great job.
