I'm thinking in make a DI box into a TRS to XLR adapter, I'm thinking in something like electret pres to use with phantom, something like this
But with the input to the fet without the capsule of course and lower gain... is it posible, just for live use...

Other option could be use this scheme http://www.jensen-transformers.com/as/as004.pdf, I can make it fit in the space I have, I draw a layout to use with a proto and it fit, I don't know about the gain if I use it with a pre without atten, that's the idea, to use with a behringer I have at work. Maybe an atten at output but not much space for it, using 1K instead of R4 and R5 and 220Ω between them just add one resistor and 20dB pad without loading too much the output and keeping output Z OK.
