besides the fact that you seem to come across as being entitled to one, no, no problem at all. Im sure the people who posed questions to you feel the same way.

I'll bring my apology for what i said to you
The only problem with ("who are you") make pretty bad sound to me
If this is commonly used prase, I personaly do not care, but if you bite I will bite back.
Have a nice day
Buy the way TLM103 HAS CASCODE with two FET
What do you mean CASCODE?
is it Common source - common gate?? Like AKGs followers??
For me it sounds like big step back for Neumann.
Neumann usually goes on common source - common base topology
(U87, U47Fet,???) It may be little optimal, because first stage
works in current mode and then electrodes have right potentials to
have low-noise.
Why we talks only and not draws? How about your RODE schematics?
Someones of us thinking graphically...
There are severe modern mic schematics all over the net. Maybe 1932 topology with modern caps souds good, but looks somewhat perversly now. But this is main stream.
If you have some interesting schemo, show it, please. I collect
nonboring schematics.

The first stage of FET with cascode section looks the same to Rode design (from the picture on the web) I'm not Talking about diff out put
It can be changed at any time with transformer or other curcuitry

Self noise is 5 DB for RODE-NT1a compare to7 db for TLM103

Yes I do not have TLM 103 (to exspensive for trying
If you have a schematic for tlm 103 I will glad to see it

No, I don't have the schematics. That's why I was asking for it .

I would not base the judgement of the circuit similarity from a picture on the web. Many microphones even with nearly identical looking schematics sound very differently. It is not only about different capsules or grill constructions, but also implementation, i.e. parts and their quality, parts values, optimization of operating points, etc. etc.

Something as simple as different bias value might result in completely differently sounding mic. And definitely you cannot take out the output buffer circuitry, which is unseparate part of the design.

Hopefully, it explains your last message, as well.

Oh, and BTW, the first stage of the Rode is not a cascode, but a simple phase splitter.
Hey Mark!
Here is Michael again
I allready explained and apolgies for what i said and why.
Every body has good days and bad days
You might hait me, but if are willing to talk, I have couple questions to you
Let me know please

Why would I hate you???

If you want to ask something, please do. If I don't know the answer some other folks might do.

If you want to contact in private, on this board there is a PM feature.

Hey Mark!
Thanks for replaying
I got very bad impression of my self after that weird conversation with soundguy “kind of fight “
And if I was incorrect or impolite I said sorry.

OK. Let’s talk in professional manner.

I have couple questions to you.
What about the top picture on board of TLM103 .Can we get more detailed view on it?only one side in amp section.
And those SMT components. The have some marking codes .Is any numbers?

By the way. Recently I upgrade my EMU-1212 and 4-CH BEHRINGER mix.
With THS-4032 opamps http://focus.ti.com/docs/prod/folders/print/ths4032.html
Sound Impressive. Huge difference before and after.
Tested with spectrum analyzer. The second and third harmonic distortion dropped down below 130db.
Is any comment on it? . I would glad to receive some information from other people.

And more than that .I surfed prodigy web for more then 4-HR
GOOD WORK!!!
my best
Michael.
