Theres a standard UK and Ireland type 7 pin multipole socket destined for use with trailers and caravans for the rear lightling clusters ,
Euro zone has its own 13 pin variety , smaller contacts . The USA and Aus have their own versions .
I've decided to repurpose these for a low voltage DC battery supply .
The plug cost me 3 euros and the socket around 6 in black plastic , there are also metal versions not much more expensive . The terminals are big and chunky ,way way over speced for running a few indicator lamps and lights .
