PLEASE READ!!! On boards,D11 and D12 showed wrong! They must be reversed! See layout documents! (I have no idea why but I got PCBs like this from manufacture.)And if you use plastic,check pins!

Made with easy to find and cheap components.But you can improve it.

Normally power section caps are 1000U/35V.But i used 1000U/63V.So caps are big. ;D

And i used only TL071 and TL072 op amps.You can use NE5532 and NE5534 or other op amps.

By the way i've used 1N60 instead of OA47 in and 1N4007 instead of 1N4002.compression section.And as you can see there is no one diode in meter section.Normally there are 1N4002 and OA47.I soldered 1N4007.Can i use 1N4007 instead of OA47?Or should i use 1N60?

Thank you pucho812.I already used this circuit but there is no info about pot type.And i used TL072 for in & out.

Looks good. You can always replace the capacitors in the power section later.

(In fact this is a very simple FET compressor, but I am curious to know how it sounds.)

What about pot types?

I guess like this...

INPUT  47K  Log
OUTPUT  10K  Log
ATTACK  100K  Lin 
RATIO  1M    ???
RELEASE 470K  Lin

What type is Ratio?

And i need advice to setting trimpots...

I would use a 'normal' (cheap) linear trimpot first en see how it works.
If you only use one end of the control range, chances are that you need a Log version.
About the attack and release I am not sure.
You could imagine that you would need more control over 0.1 to 0.2 Sec release time, than over 1.0 to 1.1 Sec.
So release (and maybe attack!) may be Log too.
Maybe an other forum user has opened this type of compressor before and can tell you more?
The alignment procedure is clearly deescribed in the documents in the posts by mjrippe.

do you have a wiring diagram & a front panel layout with the various controls. i.e. what are the ranges for input, output, ratio, attack, release, threshold, etc. etc. , and what is the spec for the Meter?

I have no wiring diagram but it's easy.Look schematic.You can understand wiring.I added two photos,too.And now i'm makin front panel design.I'll share when it's done.

ATTACK 20uS to 200mS
RATIO 1:1 to 20:1
RELEASE 25mS to 500mS
INPUT -20 to +20
OUTPUT -20 to +20
