I have a TL audio Fatman-1 and in manual mode when I use the threshold function I am noticing that the results are not immediate but there is aprox 1 second lag for the appropriate setting to be reached, just like latency in digital equipment.
By looking at the schematics I can identify the suspects which I think are IC16 (4051) or IC23 (TL074).
Can a problematic analog switch (4051) produce such a lag, or should I blame the opamp ?
I could replace these but I would like to understand first why such a behaviour can be caused.

EDIT : Problem was solved , it was the potentiometer causing the trouble !
