good question. A lot of supply has been consumed with no real replenishment of it due to covid. But that has been everywhere not just in the vacuum tube market. But no worries, it will all normal out over time and just cost the consumers more.

Maybe API purchased them all in case they actually have a hit on their hands

That's weird, just the other day with the chip shortage was thinking maybe it's time to build more tube gear.

I checked with Banzai and they seem to have plenty in stock.

Banzai also had problems delivering certain JJ tubes in the spring for an extended period of time.

Well they still make valves in Japan and the Czech Republic.
Which is great, if the only valve you use is a 300B.
