Using Surface Mount Resistors.

Anybody in the group have a brand preference for 1206 SMT resistors. Panasonic, Vishay, ROHM? I'll be using them as a switchable pad/attenuator. Low voltage low current. I have heard of complaints about distortion but can't find any concrete evidence that.

Any recomendations?

The best you can get (or so I've heard) is the mini-melf metal film resistors. They are made by BC Components (used to be Philips), and are easy to get - in Europe at least.
