Im building a decent poor man monitor controller.
I 'm using pushbuttons to switch 3 relays... blah blah blah...

Now on the signal what you think about using VCA's?
I'm reading some THAT ideas and i'm still unsure if its right or not!

Will this act like an atenuator?

Heres the PDF...http://www.thatcorp.com/datashts/dn116.pdf

Thanks.

Ehhh, first, let me note that I'm absolutely no expert !

Going in unbalanced will be fine in most cases.... The audio signal, is it electronically balanced ?  (eeeh PM, will be a tranny I suppose)

The VCA controller, is it going to be a standalone unit? If so, I'd use a de-balancing opamp. THAT, TI, BB, any decent opamp should be fine. I'd choose an NE5532/5534. really nice sound, and very inexpensive, haha.
