Vintage Sifam VU shattered glass replacement

Hi everyone,

I have acquired a Neve 83046 compressor on which the left Sifam VU meter has a shattered "glass" window.



Is there any easy way to open the meter and replace that plastic part? The meter is working perfectly so there is no need to replace it completely if this is doable..

On the newer vu meters, you can take the bezel off by dislodging it very carefully with your hands.. I don't know if these have screws in the back, maybe open the unit and see if you see any screws holding the bezel to something else..
