VTL5C3/2 balance

I wonder if anyone has any idea how close the two photo resistors in a VTL5C3/2 track each other? I was toying with the idea of using a single one across a stereo bus in a dirt cheap opto-compressor.

I know they are no longer made by their original manufacturer but the specs of the Xvive version used by the synth guys looks close to the original.
