What's happened to the like button

If everybody is told they can't post a link until after they demonstrate that they are a productive member of the forum, spammers may not even try. 

The mindless machine spam will keep coming and keep getting reported so we will continue to take out that garbage.

If the links don't work, zero harm can happen, besides the nuisance.
