Standard electric cable is usually too thick. Good for ground though.
RS components have a selection of 0.5mm² (AWG20) wires rated at 1kV that offer IMO the right mix of rigidity and ease of forming/soldering/stripping.
For a nicer lead dress, don't forget to harden the wire; cut a length of wire, put one end in a vice, pull the other end till the wire breaks (or just), now the wire is ready for perfect dressing.

and about passive speakers cables for connection to amplifier ?
there are many offers with also advertisement as "the best of the best"….
with silver , gold , special dimension etc….  ::)

but with special hi prices too….  :'(

good for any model of professional monitors ?
(ns10 , auratone , tannoy , jbl , etc…)

I've  used a bunch of 12awg SJ cable........like this ...

and 4c twisted up for bigger AWG for the bass amplifiers/cabs when needed ....welding cable is good too

The most significant parameter for speaker cables is resistance, the rest is most of the times irrelevant. Even inductance does not count unless you're laying hundreds of meters of speaker line.
The lower the resistance, the better. Copper offers the best compromise between resistance, flexibility and solderability.
Standard electrical installation cable (AWG14) is perfectly fine for speakers. Don't waste your money on snake-oil.
