Which Telefunken do I have?

After researching some of Oliver Archuts comments over at GS, I am a bit confused...the v672/2 I have looks exactly like the one in this pic:

(I notice that Matt has used these guys perhaps he might have a comment if he's not still moving to the new digs...)


...but after some research I am wondering, mainly because it does not have the UI style tranx's like in this pic:

It is all discrete, no opamps...but the caps aren't the black ones that say "Germany" on them...it has the three round tranx's...

If any are expert-ized in this I could use some info...thanks.

It's hard to see, but the one in the first pic may be the later version that's not all discrete. Have a look at the metal can parts, if they have more than three (or maybe four) pins, they're early IC-opamps, 709 type, if I remember correctly. But the ultimate question is: do you like the sound of the unit or not?

There were several revisions and versions of these cards for different purposes. IIRC kubi has a few different schematics on his homepage
