Anyone know of a guy in L.A. or is really good at woodworking?

I have a wood horn design for my 604-8G speakers that I would like to have made but have no idea who to talk to or go to on that.

I have a pair of those horns somewhere, but they would not fit my altecs. ;D I may even have his contact info somewhere, good call.

How precise does something like this need to be? Is CNC mandatory?

I am not 100% certain, but if the price is cnc will allow for 2 of the same.

Cnc might be a good plan alright , otherwise it could take a lot of hours to carve the throat , and theres going to be differences with hand made pieces . Ive seen some conical horns made from layers of machined ply wood , looks nice . Could you not get a throat adapter for the westlake horns you have or have them re engineered to suit your drive units ?
