Wanted WTB: Collins 356A Output Transformers

Well, seems like the pair I bought from Reverb are bust.

If y'all have a pair of (or any) ADC 11789s please let me know! Also open to alternatives if they exist.

Pretty sure that UTC is too big. Some of the other GE models might fit.

If anyone wants the pair that don't work, shoot me a DM! I tore them open out of curiosity/maybe it being just a disconnected wire inside, but it seems like the problem is in the winding. Just pay shipping.

There they blow. Overpriced; it’s that guy. Plus they are the earlier 6mA versions, that was changed to 8mA at some point.

I appreciate your help... I don't want to blast anyone's reputation here, but I'm needing a pair of OTs because of this guy. He sold me a pair of 356A with blown transformers then refused to refund (and then maybe even got banned from Reverb? I can't find his account).

I really don't like talking negatively about anyone, but I've heard similar stories from other reputable folks in/around Nashville. Just a fair warning for anyone else looking to buy from him.

Thanks for that. I too felt bad calling out a company on another truck forum I'm a member of but felt it was the right thing to do. I've even gone as far as going back on recommendations a year or two later if a part starts getting wonky....

I don't believe it'll work - the Collins has a feedback winding and I'm not entirely sure what the ratios are.. I vaguely recall a thread where CJ or someone tore one apart to figure it out, but I can't find it at the moment. Appreciate it though.
