Yamaha DM 2000 VCM

Can the DM2000 use the PM1D AI8ML8 input box, via a Yamaha AES50 sound card or some other type of Yamaha sound card. I know the DM2000 is compatible with Rio stage boxes via Yamaha Dante sound cards, and ES stage boxes via Yamaha ES sound cards.

No, you will need the DSP engine to direct the signal. The AI8 boxes connect to the dsp box (brain) for the ad/da & routing.
