Should I use 1% metal film resistors in my 9k preamp? Also any important audio caps that I should use?

thanks kubi, I will go with the 5% ones. because you must buy metal film ones in pack of 10 at mouser.

no ceramic caps though, right, sorry for the dumb question, but this is my first time building an audio circuit.

If "the 5% ones" are metal film, they should be OK. You should use metal film resistors in a preamp because of the lower noise level.
