I have a old desktop cnc engraving machine and I would like to find a soft that generates ISO cnc code like :X9.3223 Y85.22........... from a bmp or maybe directly from a gerber, but preferably from an image file.

Cheers

I haven't been able to find any free "isolation-milling" software, which is the type that you will need to engrave pcb's directly from files.
Maybe you know a software that can machine directly gerber generated by Eagle ?
Well, if you are using Eagle you can use a the pcb-gcode ULP utility to generate g-code from a board layout. I use it a lot for prototype PCB's. Here is small clip (rather bad quality though) ...

Thanks Nerik for the video :thumb:

I've been using Eagle a little a few years ago, but I have to go back to it !!!

Is that ULP application makes "english" engraving , I mean the "negative" of the tracks automaticaly, or your have to generate a ground plane ?

Anyway thanks for the clip :thumb:
