Igor

Without talking too much. All you guys know what can I say and I know what you can answer.

In one word: here! The photos of 2 versions, simple and freaky cool, just for reference.

Can be built in many ways.

See the photos. Check the assembly pictures. Will take inside pictures tomorrow.

Questions welcome. In case of big interest....there will be good surprise!

Igor...

You are a machine. I don't know how you are able to produce so many projects in such a short time.

I admit. I am jealous.

well, I got one question for you - how much for a set of pcbs?  :D
i assume they are the same for both front panel versions, just a different meter board?
Personally, I prefer the LED meter front panel - great to get a level meter with reasonably high resolution thrown in. Also, to me needle meters only look right on really old stuff like LA2A/TG/etc. Each to their own I guess!

Cheers Igor,

give us a description , is it unique compared to your other offerings or does it combine
elements of past designs into one new unit ? I'm confused about it although I know its
a comp / lim , yes.

Nice one Igor!

Where did you get your EAO lens caps engraved? Will you be selling these as well?

Always there's a place to add something.....
Kits, depending on interest, maybe.

No, I have this project done and laying on shelve about 3-4 weeks. Just was waiting.

Yes, it is same set of PCB's. Many ways to assemble, from GSSL+turbo till full-featured MixBuzz1.
Meter assembly is bit complicated, but this is IMHO the way to get right indication
of input/output and gain reduction. Resolution is 2db per segment.
Input/output metering done on THAT2252, timing can be peak or RMS.

Very simple thing. Works fine. Free gift to all GSSL'ers:
http://i251.photobucket.com/albums/gg291/diy33609/att_rel.jpg
(continuously variable attack/release, dependant/independant attack/release control,
dual time constants).

Ah yes, and another one-at this time, RATIOS!

O! This is normal talks!

I think, if there will be 50 orders, there will be nice boards with silkscreening...
(about this, later :)

This is a bit extended MixBuzz500, in 1RU, which can be built in many options,
from GSSL+Turbo till.... Well, next top secret:
I already working on adding another small PCB with peak/avg crestfactor and timing...
Ops, stop :)

At my workshop.
Can source some tens of these caps. Possible to make standard engraving like IN
(will be instead of bypass) and TURBO or MIX. Sell? No. Can include lens caps for free with PCB's.

Missing silkscreen on PCB's? This is first proto.
BTW, fired up from first turn-on. I was surprised, but still no errors.
Of course, PCB's will be high quality, 2Oz, with nice silkscreening, like always.
Test data, etc, coming very soon.
Have a crazy busy days now, 4-6 hours of sleeping.

To summarize: if there's an interest in PCB's-write here.
More and good resolution pictures-later.

Ah, that's a pity. I'm looking for just 1 lenscap with MONO engraved in it....those are EAO series 01 lenscaps right?
