Several years ago a friend lent me a documentary on krautrock.  I don't know that I'd ever heard Jaki Liebezeit before, but I was immediately taken with his playing--astonishingly powerful drummer.

That is really a big loss! Jaki Liebezeit,  together with Klaus Dinger (Neu!) were important influences for generations of younger drummer/musicans. Now are both dead! Ruhe in Frieden!
