8027-B Meter LED swap

Hello all.

I've done some looking and haven't found anything.

Has anyone ever swapped the LEDs in the hairball 8027-B meter? I'd like to put red LEDs in there. I popped the cover off it and looks simple enough to do but the LEDs are very particular. Also not totally sure how to get them out.

Curious if anyone knows the particular led it uses and if anyone has successfully swapped them to a different color.
