Front panel logos - 3D, medallions/badges/emblems
« on: May 18, 2020, 02:35:06 PM »
Been thinking of having custom logos made for my front panels. Something like a chrome Gibson or Fender logo on amplifiers. Or maybe like a medallion that could be riveted or glued on like a Neumann, Collins, or RCA badge.

Has anyone done this before? Any good processes or materials to look for? Anything to avoid?

Several times I have thought about having an oval plate you can screw or rivet to a rear panel to fit on the back of my mixers but never got round to it. Possibly with space for a serial number (two digits would be plenty for my lifetime). I suspect you probably have to buy a hundred or so.
