I am at a valve preamp idea right now. To turn into reality I would want to use some iron I have lying around.
This means I would need to turn a 12V secondary to supply the phantom power. In a schmetic by @gyraf I found a neat voltage doubler.
Is it okay to extend it to a voltage quaddrupler like this?
