Totally understand Jacob,

its just what I have lying around, so Ill give it a go and see what happens

Well after all the problems I had over the weekend, I tried two replacement TX's (20VA tho unfortunately) and it WORKS first time. I think I possibly could have had some dud TX's first up.

Anyway, im stoked its now working!!

how 20VA holds up though, I guess we will just have to see...
20VA is not enough..

I have tried 25VA in my G9 and the transformer was getting hot and the voltage was dropped down... I think 30VA is minimum...
bugger!

Been on for 90 mins now, transformer is barely warm, I was thinking Id got away with it. Foiled!
if it dosen't get hot in three or four hours, you're on the safe side..
Well so far so good Jacob...

a question if I may...

Does the VA rating of a power TX affect headroom of the device ??

Well its been over 4 hours now and the TX is only barely warm, couldnt even call it warm actually.

Guess Ill box it up and see how we go.
