Hi,

I have the idea of making an analong summing mixer on a 500 series format. Before starting the circuit design and all that stuff I'm doing some research about these format. Does anyone know if there is some kind of standard for the pins that the 500 series devices use on their pcb's and where to find it?.

If there is someone that already has done any project on these format I will appreciate any kind of advice of how to start dealing with this and where to look for more info.

Thank you.  :)

I do very similar Rodoortiz!!!

Ill be soon finished and I cant you give big advice cause I didnt yet tested the hole channell strip with summing amps!!!

I donig a 16 channels API console ,API 312 preamp ,Eqs, and active fader with 2520 opamp and ACA-Inv summing amps!!!

All stuffs are in 500 series format.....

there is a standard for the radial workhorse is the most complete information that I have found(mecanical drawings and specifications). it should be compatible with api500

for 51x format

for summing maybe API have their own standard you should navigate on console schematics I guess.

for years I have been playing with the idea to have different kind of summing amplifiers for different sounds. maybe 500 is a good idea.  in a lot of cases they are very similar to a mic pre.
