OKAY, so what I've found out through reading of that thread
The thread I pointed out to you explains exactly how the mod is made, what types of capacitors are used, other details, etc.
You just have to read the 23 pages and try to understand.
People with no experience in electronics have successfully managed to achieve excellent results with this mod.
Okay, so what I've learnd is that. The more capacitor pF (acummulated) the lower the hgih frequency sounds.
They said adding the 680pF onto the stock capacitor will give u the tlm67 sound. I think it was u that said it micolas!
A tlm67 is a u87ai without the the boosted tops, right>? So the tlm67 sound is more natural? or very colored?
WIll the modded perception sound like a colored 67 or a 67 without the coloratioN?

I think adding the 680[F is better for me, less nasalness, and boosted hights.

I have already ordered it now.

Your real voice, heard from the outside, therefore captured by a microphone, has a nasal, honky character. But this happens in the midrange, as described in the graph. NOT in the high-mids or highs as you mistakenly assume, due to lack of knowledge.

Many of us have suggested here to look for the right type of sound for your voice,
with Eq or with a microphone emulator software.
You can install, for example, a Trial version of Antares Mic Mod to determine what is favorable to you. I assume that you have software skills.

I insisted on providing an example with the voice-over sound that you like, precisely with the intention of helping you, which is impossible without understanding exactly what you want.
Your descriptions contain nothing technical. "Warm", "clear", etc. are very subjective descriptions

my voice is as amazing as it is,. no need to cut out the mids! And no, I dont think microphones give u the real voice , there is a certain area that is boosted (around 4khz) in ALL microphones!!!! But not shown!
I can hear it, bc i played around with EQ, including the neumanns have this issue. Sry but i dont buy this 'ur voice sounds different than u perceive it'. No definitely not! It's always the same voice. I can hear it especially well when I am in a hall or echoing room like our living room, the louder i speak the louder the echo. And this sound is exactly like my real voice, no change. The bass and everything of my voice is reflected just the way I hear it without the echo when Im in another room. U won't be able to convince me, I;'ve had this conversation before. Keep ur religious belief grounded on 'what u were told' without ever questioning it!
I doubt there is any microphone that shows the real voice. A technology issue.
That frequencyu at 4khz,, itt's some weird sound that makes the sound sound cheap like ur talking through a pipe, when u deboost it on all microphones, u start hearing ur real voice it stops sounding like ur talking into the mic anymore but as if someone next to u is talking

Anmd about the u87, it DOES sounds nasal, i thought that was common knowledge

“Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn’t go away” - Philip K. Dick

including the neumanns have this issue.

Is that the one or two you may or may not have tried in real life?

Fine, try a Line Audio CM3 or CM4 - if those aren't flat-response and honest, I don't know what is. Or try a (calibrated) measurement mic, but those are omnidirectional, so you'll hear the unfortunate room acoustics even more, but with no proximity effect to accentuate the bass.

U won't be able to convince me, I;'ve had this conversation before.

Then why are you (still) here? 🤨

Your anatomical structure (and more) makes you perceive frequencies differently.

I don't think we can help you here. You have had the best advice from highly experienced and knowledgeable forum members for free and you wont take our help or advice. We don't even know if your human.
My free advice is to try another forum. You will just get the same advice as you got here but hey knock yourself out.

I got it wrong with the frequency i think it was around 2khz where u have to lower it about 4.5 db on all microphones. U can do that on all youtube videos too where someone speaks, U will immidiately notice that their voices sound much more as if they arent talking into a microphone but how u imagine the person to really sound like if they were next to u!

First of all, i want to apologize in advance for the... crudeness of my hypothesis below, but try to bear with me. Oh, and the staff is welcome to remove this, should it be deemed (quite so) inappropriate.

BUT... And i of course stand to be corrected - unless i'm horribly mis-reading this, it sounds to me more like...

my voice is as amazing as it is

"My p*nis is amazing as it is, it satisfies me greatly, every time i play with it. The weird thing is that, none of the partners i've used it with gave me the same feedback"

"I know for a fact it's ONLY the fault of the condoms i've been using, that's why they don't feel about it the same way that i do. And yeah, i've washed a couple times this year***, but that's not the problem..."

(*** This is a reference to the acoustic treatment of the recording room, or lack thereof)

So there's like ZERO possibility that has ANYTHING to do with your headphones / speakers / room acoustics, right? Although to be fair, we have no idea what you're even listening back on, so...

OK.
And what's stopping you from using that graphic EQ, or other plugins to process your voice to your liking?
(and in the case of your voice, I would reduce 1000HZ -2dB,577Hz -1.5dB and boost +1.5...2dB at 83Hz and 166Hz)

I have been on this forum (and the previous one) for way over 20 years, I don't post often. But have a like.. made me smile in my Spanish farmhouse under a rain storm that has lasted 5 days (and the RCD is going to trip any minute)

At first I thought that this was a severe case of Dunning–Kruger, but now it seems more likely that this is just Trolling.
"Trolling behaviors involve tactical aggression to incite emotional responses, which can adversely affect the target's well-being"
I have to admire the patience and willingness to share expertise from the forum members though in spite of everything..
