I've made a passive Mid Range Equalizer :)

The filter circuit is from the classic Pultec MEQ-5 with  some more  frequencies.  Input and output stages are THAT 1246 / 1646.

The filter is driven by a DOA and the output buffered by a NE5534 that also feeds the input of the 1646.
The difference to other solid state circuits maybe is that I drive the filter circuit quite hot through the DOA and there's not so much gain from the output buffer. Does it sound different? I don't know :)

Here are some pictures that I made while working on the unit:

Very nice. Do you have any sound clips?

Where did you find those inductors?(I assume the round black things are inductors) I'm always looking for new sources for single inductors like that. Do you have a model number?

Hi,

the inductors are from Fastron. I've bought them from Reichelt, a german distributor.
