Aiwa xk-s7000 cassette machine

I need a cassette for the studio. I have been offered an Aiwa xk-s7000 cassette machine. Does anyone know anything about it?
It has a acoustic wooden base has 2 huge transformers out the back and is very heavy. It has 18bit digital i/o.
I will post pics of actual unit if it helps.

A cassette with digital? It could be the dreaded DCC format :roll:

My all-time favorite cassette recorder is the Aiwa F770 - but that's very different from that one..

yeah, I had two F-770's at home in England... they were fantastic! (Pain in the butt to rack-mount though!)

Digital converters? Is there a DCC logo anywhere on it?
