Hi..Just signed up and I have a question. I have a Alesis HD24 and the stop button light stays on when I turn the unit off from the front. I have done a reset and it is still on. Any suggestions? Thanks

Normal operation I belive, only go's off when the rear switch is off.
indicates standby
indicates standby
correct.
Change the fan, the original sounds like a 747

Thanks for all the replies. The recorder normally sits in a room with lots of light and I guess I just didn't notice. Recently moved it to another room that is darker. Walked by and saw the light. Thought I might have left it on...I had the thought that it might indicate standby . Might be my eyesight. .lol. I'm 72 and still plugging along with music....Again thanks to everyone..
