Still didn't keep me from soldering up an xlr without putting the barrel on first...only 20 minutes later.....

Been there, once soldered a stiff cable that was hanging in air while on a ladder. Solder splashes to the eye are painful, glasses prevented eye contact but still burned skin

So do SMD components when blown off a board by hot air station, landing on leg while only wearing shorts. Some sort of SMD branding... ouch. Tubes safer.
