Alternatives to THAT4305 analog engine?

Hi!

Right now it seems difficult to get THAT chip. For the VCA part there are alternatives, but for the RMS detector...¿build my own?...or ¿replace it for a peak detector?.. that would change the compressor behaviour much?... At Mouser the stock is 0, but they will have them back in august... My goal is to use it for 500 series. +/-16v.

Mouser have the THAT 4316 in stock. The RMS detector in the 4316 is very easy to use.

Though the 4316 is a low voltage part both the VCA and RMS are current in current out devices so the reduced supply voltage will not affect headroom.

I also saw the 4315 part, that runs on +16v single rail. Should work also. I take note of your suggestions!!
