Hi, just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for any DIY saturation builds available? One focused on adding harmonics, wideners or enhancers to the signal?

Thank you.

Here's a very recent one - the Waveulator - from Wayne Kirkwood that uses a clever VCA sidechain to deliver controllable zero-time-constant limiting for soft clipping:

I've got a board set, but won't get chance to build it for a while.

Wayne also has a number of mid side processers for sale on his website, which could be combined with the Waveulator for stereo widening purposes: KA-Electronics.com.
Have you built yours yet? :)

Soundskulptor just release a tube saturator which catch my eyes...have room in my 500 rack

I'm tempted by the waveulator since time now... I should pull the trigger one day...

Waveulator passes audio over here.

It's a zero-latency limiter to tame peaks. Almost inaudible when used sparingly. When overdone it quickly sounds gross.

Also, needs meticulous calibration. Have yet to figure out how to meaningfully implement ratio control. Dual pot is easy but 10% deviation seems a lot, when aiming at precision.

Half in a case over here, and it still needs metering (not just LED) plus faceplate.
