Any Ideas or input for building a creative Filter-Bank like the Sherman 2 ?

There dont seem to be a lot (if any) really bonkers creative filter banks around similar to the sherman 2... or havent i just looked thoroughly enough ?
Maybe you know of some interesting projects that are still accesible, pcb wise or have the documents to get some made.
That would be super cool !
Maybe putting different projects together into one / bending them together into a wonderful chaotic filtering bliss !

Can you give any pointers to which year that was circa ?

Before sherman came out, so more than 20 years I guess. I think it was based on a switched capacitor filter ic from TI. Somethîng with at least 14 pins and it was not absolete 5years ago when I last checked.

They used to have analog filter named Filtrex in DIY form. Unfortunately, it seems to be their legacy product now.
A friend of mine built dual unit and it sounds fantastic!
Maybe there are some guys that still have those pcbs from their private collection they'd be willing to sell if you dig into synth/modular/eurorack type of forums. But that'd be a lot of digging.

Maybe look to the Eurorack or MOTM community? Lot's of schematics available and easily combinable.

An envelope follower, filter(s) and an LFO is a good starting point. Then wrap it all in an In/Out circuit that suits your needs.
