Anyone with a FET matching device willing to help a chap?

Even with a pool of hundreds I did not get perfect matches, but decent.

It's likely this varies a lot between manufacturers and batches. My experience only related to the common FET used in 1176 project (2N5457). From a batch of 30 I was able to curve-trace two "perfect" quad sets and many other dual sets. I admit I was a bit surprised. It has been a lot harder to find simple hfe matches from much more common NPN/PNP transistors.
