I'm wondering if these rolloff filters are typical? I took some screen shots of measurements of a an input channel for my console (not API, but 'clone' of 536/528 input strip) The filter is from 536 (Boji redraw below) . Seems like they start rolling off pretty early. I don't have exactly the same load hanging on top of the fader. I wonder if that affects the hpf?
Or is it supposed to be this way? I can definitely hear a 1K tone affected when arming the HPF. And if you arm both it's actually the lowest roll of? (-3dB@62Hz)
I wonder if I did something wrong. The roll ofs all start at or above 1K. And gentle.
