Sorry if this is an annoying post. I am at work, and I found a bunch of UTC and Triad iron. I have searched the net to see the specs on these (it is written on most of the iron though). Basically I'm still a newbee with iron, and I don't know what's good for what. Are these usable (or good) in any of our projects?

Triad:

A-89A
R-2C
HS-61
S-12X
T-13X
HSM-230
F-143XP
F-92A
R-79BA
HS-15

UTC:

H-935
H-925

Thanks for any info...
Joel

Holy cow. Thats a lot of iron.
I can not find any of those numbers either, but I only have one triad catalog.
Are you sure HS-15 is not a HS-14? And if it is, how much do you want for it/them!
I will dig around for some info.
I wish these guys did not do so much private labeling!
There could be some real gems in there.

OK, found the A-89-A -driver transformer-plate to grid-50 to 10000 hz.
HS-61 is probably a great plate to line
S-12-X is probably a plate to voice coil (speaker)
T-13X is probably a small plate to push pull grid trijet
HSM-230 is probably a filiment trans.
same with the F-143-xp
and the F-92-a
R-79 is probably TV pwr trans.
HS-15 could be newer version of HS-14

looking for the UTc's.

It's a HS-15. Never used. Says:

HS-15
Input Transformer
GR. 1, CL. A, FAM. 11

Primary impedences, 600, 250, 150, 62.5

Under power level, it says: +20 DBM

30-20,000 C.P.S. (I don't know what this means.)

10 MA. D.C. PRI. CURRENT
SEC. P.P. GRIDS 38,400 ohms
Term. 7-10; ct term. 8&9
shield and core term 11

Does this tell you anything?

The HS-15 would seem to be a mic input that could drive a push pull circuit.
The DC current is puzzling as i have never seen a dc rating for a 600 ohm primary.
i added some things to my first post.

UTC's might just be pwr transformers. how big are they?

the UTC's are about the same sixe as the HS-15. about 2.5"x1.5"x1.5".
So you think the HS-15 could be used for one of our projects? I'd love to do a pultec, but the iron is limiting.
