Attachments getting lost, not showing up

Seems like most intermittent faults. Most times it works, sometimes it doesn't. It is still a fault though and damned hard to find.

Allow me to try this again. Adding silly attachment now... and then hit preview.

OK, previewed, and then added this line, hit post.

Hmm. That time, previewing didn't wipe the attachment. Usually for me, it does, as of a couple months ago.

Note that this is not criticism of this great board, I only started this thread as helpful advice.

And just for fun, posting another jpeg, my dinner tonight. Please don't try this at home. I'm likely the only idiot that actually likes this combination, not a recommended recipe by any means.

I think I've never seen any attachments in preview mode, just as I don't see any emoticons, just the text version. Since it's always been the same, I never worried about it.

yup me too.

just sharing that it is working for me now, every time so far for the last few days.

If others are still having difficulty getting their attachments to attach, perhaps let us know in this thread. Ethan has been working on this and may have already fixed it.
