I found that the 2N5087 transistors are getting a bit hard to find over here. Several distributors have them listed as "out of production". Would it be ok to replace them with BC560's in the Alice mic electronics?

I tried building the circuit on Scott's site with the panasonic capsules with them (it's similar but uses the capsule's internal fet as a phase splitter instead of a 2n4416) and it works ok, doesn't seem excessively noisy but I was wondering if the 2N5087's are better suited for this.
Thanks for the answer. Would they work in the alice mic as well or would the 2n5087 be better there?
That's what I meant - the BC556 is supposed to be a replacement for the 2N5087, and in fact does work fine in the Alice mic.
