I didn't know about and intermediate version of the "pro". Do you remember if the capsules were the same in that two samples?

The new B2- 'pro' stock is unusable for me. I think the noise is around 20dBa. The sound

Yes, I also have more noise in the new ones, I wonder why... the design is quite the same

Just realized that the low cut could be used for a variable deemphasis (with the U87 mod), having for example a 100/120pf permanently connected and a 56pf in the low cut way

Stock circuit should be tweaked to find and eliminate the source of diferent quirks it might have, like noise or whatever bothers you... On the other hand one should be carefull discarding it altogether. If you look carefully what they have done, and how they modified standard Schoeps you would see how smart it really is. It took me couple of years to fully grasp what's going on. Q3, C9 and FET arrangement.
