hi everyone,
i have been very busy and not here much lately but ...
in my research for my ribbon mics i decided to give a moment of effort toward
getting some of these facts we are all interested in...
i searched the us patent and trademark records for
every possible combination including the following:
assingee: compant or government to which patent is associate
inventor name: searched zarin, wise .. saulesperen
( however you spell his name ... go the correct spelling from the trademark office)
inventor country: with second option all area search of microphone and transducer
searched both usa and latvia and estonia
currently neither party owns ANY electronics patent in the us
only one file was found specified as: "ornamental design for microphone"
here is the URL
http://patft.uspto.gov/netacgi/nph-Parser?Sect1=PTO2&Sect2=HITOFF&p=1&u=/netahtml/search-bool.html&r=1&f=G&l=50&co1=AND&d=ptxt&s1=Saulespurens.INZZ.&OS=IN/Saulespurens&RS=IN/Saulespurens
i will offer no opinion here only these facts i have discovered.
i will pose two questions:
why change your transducer design
when there are no current patant restrictions
unless you forsee some legal problem with your current design in the future?
if you are indeed the inventor
and happen to reside in the us
AND you have complete acess to the judicial system,
why have NO electronic patents been registered?
i had been steering clear fo this discussion but felt these facts would be appreciated...
i hope this is helpful and informative and that i have been of service to all here at the forum.
many thank for all of your help in the past.
