Hello everybody,

Via via I got hold of some Bruel & Kjaer microphones:
2x 2619 preamps
4x 4165 capsule
1x 4135 capsule and adapter for 2619
1x 4138 capsule and adapter for 2619

I found the necessary power supply on Ebay but they are quite expensive, so I would like to build my own.
Only, I find some contradictory information in the spec sheets and I would like to verify.

Mic capsule:
Polarization voltage = 200V

Power supply 2807:
Supplies 200V, 130V and 28 V.
The heater voltage I don't need, it's all indoor use.

Preamp 2619:
Here it shows it needs 120V (or 28V). But does not specify 200V.
Later in the document it states:
"
The nominal cartridge polarization voltage is 200 V, except for the 4148,
where it is 28 V. For situations where only a single power supply is available
(e.g. batteries in a field measurement set up) the 2619 can be operated from
a voltage equal to the microphone polarization voltage.

My confusion:

1. The 130V does not match the 120V, where the 2619 spec explicitly state 120V is the max.
2. The 200V is not mentioned in the 2619 doc. I assume it needs it, correct?

I think I need to supply both 200V and 120V, or will only 200V be enough?

And lastly:
3. The current stated in the 2807 is expected (2mA & 10uA)? Then I can match my power supply for it.
4. Anybody any experience with these mics? Very curious!

Hope hearing a response!
Thanks.
