C-22 fet info

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has any info on the Sony C-22fet mic. It uses the large 9v round battery, Eveready 206. I'd like to convert this unit so i can use phantom to power it. If anyone has a manual or schematic, that would be a great place to start.

Take a pictures of both sides of the circuit board(s) this might help figure out if it is like another sony model microphone that was just posted about changing to phantom.

Hey Gus. No that was my microphone too. An older C-38 fet.

This is a C-22 sdc. Here are some pics. Couldn't find a schematic anywhere, yet.
I suppose i could try to draw at least what i can see.

Hi, sorry to bring back this thread from the dead, but did you ever find out how to mod the C22 fet to take phantom power? I have been looking at the mod to adapt the Nakamichi CM300 mics (which use the same battery) but have not found an equivalent one for the C22..
