No thinking to keep it discrete all the way, but would be cool with the different channels featuring gar`s, 1731, red dot`s, jlm99v, Inward connections you have on your site...  8)

And what kind of terminal is good for the amounts of cable that can be summed with the 2aca/bo? I mean, if it can handle up to 40 channels..

::) still wondering on this. Do you just twist the wires into eachother, or use a bare wire that all the channels are soldered onto? Or is there some kind of terminal or technique that I`m not aware of...

You could probably do it on turret board or proto board. Run the individual signals to their respective bus resistors and then just tie the other end of those R's together. Many years ago, Paul Wolff told me to replace the cable in my console than ran from the bus tracks to the summing amps with big Mogami guitar cable.

Very cool!

By the way, would be nice with a sort of "project manager" on people`s accounts in your store. Would be nice to be able to plot in everything I need for a project, and then buy it little by little as funds allow without having to empty out the cart  8) Maybe it would give you some valuable info about what people are planning to buy too...

I`ve been struggling to find the proper crimp tool for molex (.156"). Any chance you have a nice tool you could link me to Mouser?  Staff in my local hardware shop never heard of Molex :p

Good idea but I don't think oscommerce supports anything like that. There might be an add-on for "wish-list" or something. I'll have to look if I get the chance.

I actually don't crimp them myself. I solder to the terminals and then just use a needle nose to bend over the tabs. Not the fastest way but feels better to me  ;)

Hehe okay so the crimping tool woes are universal  8)

So to fit alot of these 2s-la`s in a case, I was thinking to stack them on top of eachother using standoffs. Should these be metal or nylon? Is there something like a universal rule to this?

It won't matter. None of the mounting hole pads are connected to anything. Use whatever is more cost affordable and handy.

Just a note, I have an, "Open Barrel B type Crimping Tool" that I got from amazon.  Some are smoother than others, but they do the molex pin style of crimps really well.  I prefer the ones that do not ratchet.  The pins you are crimping don't need a great amount of force, and the crimper is cheaper.  To that point, you can crimp hard enough to distort the pin shape along the axis of the wire.  Anyhow, they make quick work of this job once you get used to them.  You can often find them at auto parts stores (NAPA, not O'Reilly's) but they tend to cost more there.

Still waiting for 2622's to show up but my fingers are crossed for tomorrow.

I've added a product to the store that I have actually on hand for a few years now. It's a lovely 1" blue pointer knob!

The 2503-L's ran out fast! New ones coming into the the store in the near future?

What's the difference between the EA-2503 and the 2503-L?

Yes they went very fast. I have another batch in the works which I expect in 2 weeks or so. I have some details here about what I found to be different. http://classicapi.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=21_37&products_id=437

I also have a Litz wire version of the 2623-1 that I am testing.  8)

Well I make music with deep lows and sizzling highs so I definitely have to have the Litz version! :) Will the mounting bracket fit the 2503-L as well?

And stop teasing with the 2623 Litz when will it be available?? :)

Yes indeed! The two 2503's are physically identical.

I literally just got them a few days ago. I want to do some testing and listening before I commit to stock. That said, I would image they are 6 weeks or so out yet.

Hi Keith, I was hoping to get to it this week but having the PSU's in stock and 2503's kept me pretty busy. I have orders to pack all day tomorrow but will shoot for Sunday.
